Visual Identity & Website

A new visual identity and website for The Carpenters' Fellowship — a considered system that honours the craft, community and continuity at the core of the organisation.

A new visual identity and website for The Carpenters' Fellowship — designed to reflect the craft, care and continuity at the heart of the organisation and its membership.

The Carpenters' Fellowship is an organisation rooted in craft, knowledge-sharing and a long continuity of practice — but its digital presence didn't reflect the quality or seriousness of the community it serves. Members, prospective members and the wider public were all arriving at the same site, and none of them were being served especially well. The identity also needed refreshing in a way that honoured the Fellowship's heritage without feeling nostalgic.

I developed a visual identity grounded in considered typography and a restrained, material-referenced palette — drawing on the craft tradition the Fellowship represents without leaning on cliché. The website was structured around the specific audiences the Fellowship serves: members, prospective members, and anyone researching the organisation. A Webflow CMS was set up so the team can publish news, events and resources independently.

A digital presence that finally matches the standing of the Fellowship in its field — a website that serves members, supports recruitment, and gives the organisation a tool it can genuinely use.
